Such pieces can be opaque or semi-opaque when dry, which means they resemble normal beachwear in terms of coverage when not in the water. They only turn see-through once you hit the water. Because these pieces are perforated with millions of tiny holes that let the sun’s rays in, it also dries faster than a conventional bathing suit.
